CALENDULA EXTRACT

Calendula extract contains flavonoids, mucilages and saponins as main active ingredients.
Flavonoids and mucilages give it soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. They protect the skin and keep it hydrated. Saponins act as skin cleansers and purifiers. That is why calendula extract is used in all kinds of cosmetic products for sensitive or irritated skin.

OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT

Olive leaves contain a series of active ingredients, among which Oleuropein, flavonoids and triterpenes stand out. Oleuropein has an important vasodilator action, activating circulation and therefore improving the appearance of the skin. In addition, it also has important antioxidant properties. Flavonoids stand out for their high content of polyphenols, which also have a marked antioxidant power.
Finally, among the Triterpenes it contains, oleanolic acid stands out, which has important re-epithelializing properties. For all these reasons, this extract can be used in all those products intended to protect and improve the appearance of the skin.

GRAPE SEED OIL

Grape seed oil is rich in oleic acid (17.8-26.5%) and linoleic acid (60.1-70.1%). The human body is not capable of synthesizing essential fatty acids, so it must obtain them from abroad. These acids are essential to be able to synthesize tissue lipids and are precursors of prostaglandins, which regulate the inflammatory response of the skin.
The application on the skin of oils rich in these essential fatty acids improves the flexibility of the skin. The decrease in the levels of essential fatty acids translates into a deterioration in the barrier function of the skin, thus producing a considerable loss of water through the stratum corneum, which is the main cause of dryness or dermatitis.
It has also been observed that dry skin has a decrease in linoleic acid content, which can be restored through topical applications with products enriched with this essential fatty acid.
Grape seed oil is highly recommended when formulating cosmetics with skin repairing activity and skin moisturizers.

GLYCOSIDE SURFACTANTS

They are the main active ingredients of the formula and those responsible for providing the cleansing and foaming capacity.
They are considered mild and skin-friendly surfactants. They are used in products for sensitive skin and for the development of products where a soft and delicate cleaning is sought. They are used as an alternative to sulfated surfactants as they are very good cleansers, but at the same time, they keep the lipid layer of the skin in good condition.
